Nutella 'riots' spread across French supermarkets
A markdown on Nutella has prompted savage scenes in a chain of French grocery stores, as customers jarred to get a deal on the sweet spread.
Intermarché stores offered a 70% markdown on Nutella, bringing the cost down from €4.50 (£3.90) to €1.40.
