Congrats are all together for Ed Sheeran and his "Ideal" love Cherry Seaborn, who have become drawn in after just about three years of dating.

"Got myself a life partner just before new year," the 26-year-old vocalist composed on Instagram Saturday, subtitling a sweet photograph of he and Seaborn — who has motivated, in addition to other things, Sheeran's most recent hit single. "We are exceptionally cheerful and in adoration, and our felines are chuffed also xx"

Sheeran and Seaborn, 24 — a hazard warning expert — have known each other since secondary school and as of late moved in together. They started dating in the mid year of 2015 after Sheeran's BFF Taylor Swift welcomed Seaborn over for her acclaimed Independence Day fête at her Rhode Island home.

"I've known Cherry since I was 11," the "State of You" vocalist told PEOPLE in March. "She took a shot at Wall Street in New York, and I had like six shows [around New York in 2015]. It was around at that point, and we reconnected. I went on visit once more, and after that I went to Taylor's fourth of July party. I was messaging [Seaborn], and she resembled, 'I'm in Rhode Island at a fourth of July gathering,' and I resembled, 'So am I.' I kinda said to Taylor, 'Would i be able to welcome one of my old classmates?' The rest is history."

The match have been going solid from that point forward. "She's extremely cool," Sheeran revealed to Ellen DeGeneres in a clasp from Ellen's Show Me More Show on YouTube posted in December. "We have two felines [Calipo and Dorito] however they're both incredibly bizarre animals. They sort of sit up like people. It's extremely odd. You'll stroll in and they'll be taking a gander at you."

Notwithstanding helping raise two felines, Seaborn likewise helped Sheeran get it together in the year off he took before recording his most recent collection ÷ (articulated "gap").

Fortunately, Seaborn was there to help. "I didn't generally see it was going on. It just began slowly happening, and afterward a few people took me to the other side and resembled, 'Quiet yourself down'… It's all amusing in the first place, everything begins off as a gathering and afterward you're doing it all alone and it's not, so that was a reminder and taking a year off."

Moving in together was a noteworthy change, as well. "I feel that was a genuine help establishing me," he said. "I was a 25 year old in the music business on visit so I simply required somebody to adjust me out."

Before their engagement, Sheeran disclosed to PEOPLE he and Seaborn would have been spending the occasions together — however he stayed mum about any plans to pop the inquiry.

"We purchased What Do You Meme? — do you realize that diversion?" Sheeran said of his Christmas designs. "I will play that with her family. She just lives a few miles from me. So I more often than not have Christmas at my home and roll over to hers."

While the card amusement, which requests that players coordinate a photograph with the most amusing image, will probably be a feature of Sheeran's vacation, it's not by any means the only thing on his timetable.

"We complete 12 Pubs of Christmas, which is a bar creep and you have a half quart at each bar," said the two-time Grammy champ.
